There are a lot of cheap heart rate monitors out there but very few can come close to beating the Timex T5G971 heart rate monitor. This is a relatively inexpensive heart rate monitor with all the basic functions you need but the best thing about it is that it works really well. This is not some cheap heart rate monitor which looks and feels cheap. It really has quality inside. One thing you will notice is that it gives you a really accurate reading and you can run on the treadmill without worrying about interference. It also works really well with most treadmill machines that I know of. Oh and the battery is user replaceable. So don’t worry if you need to send it back to the manufacturer.
